Inside the beauty

Of the rain

Lays the secrets

Of living

Inside a soul

Where the ache

Of lost love

Is planted

It was there

Just yesterday

Or was it yesteryear

Never mind

It does not matter

For time comes and goes

And one has not lived

Until a broken heart

Is laid out bare

For another

To hold it in his hands

Shelter in his love

Inside the beauty

Of his rain

And you trust once more
